When the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) was approaching its 125th anniversary, they came to us to help them do something different. They didn’t want to make just another ad campaign; they wanted to leave a lasting impact on the industry by tackling misperceptions about manufacturing head-on, bringing students, parents and emerging workers into the fold by highlighting pathways into modern manufacturing careers.
We worked with their team to conceive the Creators Wanted campaign that focused not only on promoting the industry, but creating tangible impact. One element of the campaign was the Creators Wanted Tour, a nationwide mobile tour to showcase the future of modern manufacturing to communities across America. The Creators Wanted campaign launched in 2020, the physical activation was put on hold in March due to COVID-19. Since then, the campaign has expanded to include a variety of virtual tour components including a virtual event series, an online engagement portal, and an interactive digital walk-through experience of the truck activation.
